October 18, 2024: Clyde, KS 66938 Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Rock Hills Grizzlies (Mankato, KS), 56-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Clifton-Clyde improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, KS) to play the Leopards in a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. The Leopards go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Lincoln won 46-22 in their recent league battle against Sylvan-Lucas (Sylvan Grove, KS)
The Grizzlies now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Lakeside for a Northern Plains (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 25. Rock Hills will play a Knights team coming off a 38-32 non-league win over Washington County (Washington, KS). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.
