The Bulldogs now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Waterloo West for a 5A Group 4 outing on Friday, October 25. Ottumwa will clash with a Wahawks squad coming off a 63-9 non-league loss to Liberty (North Liberty, IA). The Wahawks record now stands at 5-3.
With the defeat, Des Moines East drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Scarlets travel to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Roughriders in a 5A Group 1 outing on Friday, October 25. The Roughriders come into the outing with a record of 1-7. Roosevelt lost 49-18 in their recent non-league outing against Waukee (Waukee, IA)
