The Rison Wildcats football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Drew Central Pirates to 13 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeside for a 3A Region 8 test on Friday, October 25. Rison will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 54-8 league loss to Fordyce (Fordyce, AR). The Beavers record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Drew Central drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Barton (Lexa, AR) to meet the Bears in a 3A Region 8 test on Friday, October 25. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-4. Barton lost 49-8 in their recent league test against McGehee (McGehee, AR)
