Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA), 50-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Upson-Lee improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Knights host Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to play the Lions in a AAA Region 2 battle on Friday, October 25. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Trinity Christian lost 20-17 in their recent league battle against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)

The Tigers now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Whitewater for a AAA Region 2 battle on Friday, October 25. Fayette County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 28-21 league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
