Kentucky High School Football - Grayson County can't hold off Seneca
October 18, 2024: Louisville, KY 40220 Seneca Red Hawks (Louisville, KY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), 34-29 in a league battle.
With the win, Seneca advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Red Hawks host Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY) to play the Cougars in a 5A District 4 battle on Friday, October 25. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Bullitt Central lost 36-32 in their recent league battle against Moore (Louisville, KY)
The Cougars now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Breckinridge County for a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. Grayson County will play a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 34-16 league win over Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
