The Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) football trounced the host Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), 65-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Ridge for a 3A-2 Region II District 7 outing on Friday, October 25. Gunter will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 33-15 league win over Bells (Bells, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Howe drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 outing on Friday, October 25. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 2-5. Callisburg lost 69-0 in their recent league outing against Gunter (Gunter, TX)
