Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL), 46-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Hale County improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Dallas County (Plantersville, AL) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region 3 battle on Friday, October 25. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Dallas County lost 47-0 in their recent league battle against Thomasville (Thomasville, AL)

The Jaguars now have a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wilcox Central for a 3A Region 3 battle on Friday, October 25. Sumter Central will play a Jaguars team coming off a 62-6 league loss to Southside (Selma, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-8.
