The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) and the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), witnessed Hoover's football squad knock off Ripley by a tally of 56-28.

The Huskies (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record.

Coming up next, the Vikings battle the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. Ripley will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 21-20 league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).
