The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Salmon River Savages (Riggins, ID) and the host Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID), witnessed Salmon River's football squad knock off Horseshoe Bend by a tally of 30-22.

The Savages (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Council (Council, ID). The Lumberjacks enter the 1A Long Pin (8 Man) contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Council gained a win over Cascade (Cascade, ID), 30-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Tri-Valley Titans (Cambridge, ID) in a 1A Long Pin (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 25. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
