New Jersey High School Football - Kennedy Memorial can't hold off Middlesex
October 18, 2024: Middlesex, NJ 08846 Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ), 36-32 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Middlesex advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ) to play the County Seaters in a Big Central - Freedom Silver battle on Saturday, October 26. The County Seaters go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Belvidere won 37-0 in their recent non-league battle against North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ)
The Mustangs now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host South Plainfield for a Big Central - United Silver battle on Friday, October 25. Kennedy Memorial will play a Tigers team coming off a 35-6 non-league win over South River (South River, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
