Mississippi High School Football - Magnolia Heights beat Pillow Academy
October 18, 2024: Senatobia, MS 38668 The Magnolia Heights Chiefs football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs to 10 in the Chiefs league triumph on Friday.
The Chiefs now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starkville Academy for a MAIS 5A District 1 test on Friday, October 25. Magnolia Heights will meet a Volunteers squad coming off a 30-27 league win over Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Volunteers record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Pillow Academy drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Washington (Greenville, MS) to meet the Generals in a non-league test on Friday, October 25. The Generals come into the test with a record of 4-5. Washington lost 33-21 in their recent league test against Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS)
