Kentucky High School Football - Meade County thwarted by St. Xavier
October 18, 2024: Brandenburg, KY 40108 St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 43-21 in a league battle.
With the win, St. Xavier improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Tigers host Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY) to play the Panthers in a 6A District 3 battle on Friday, October 25. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Pleasure Ridge Park lost 40-14 in their recent league battle against DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY)
The Green Waves now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to DuPont Manual for a 6A District 3 battle on Friday, October 25. Meade County will play a Crimsons team coming off a 40-14 league win over Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY). The Crimsons record now stands at 7-1.
