Ohio High School Football - Talawanda thwarted by Mt. Healthy

Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls (Cincinnati, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Talawanda Brave (Oxford, OH), 62-42 in a league battle.

With the win, Mt. Healthy improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Fighting Owls travel to Waverly (Waverly, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Waverly lost 50-40 in their recent league battle against Northwest (McDermott, OH)

The Brave now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Wheeling Park for a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. Talawanda will play a Patriots team coming off a 47-20 non-league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-3.
