October 18, 2024: Scandia, KS 66966 Pike Valley Panthers (Scandia, KS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS), 58-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Pike Valley improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS) to play the Blujays in a Northern Plains (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 25. The Blujays go into the battle with a record of 0-7. St. John's/Tipton Catholic lost 48-0 in their recent non-league battle against Blue Valley (Randolph, KS)
The Longhorns now have a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Osborne for a Northern Plains (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 25. Thunder Ridge will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-0 league win over Linn (Linn, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
