Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA), 29-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Reading Memorial improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Rockets host Lexington (Lexington, MA) to play the Minutemen in a Middlesex - Liberty battle on Thursday, October 24. The Minutemen go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Lexington lost 44-19 in their recent league battle against Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA)

The Red & Black now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Arlington for a Middlesex - Liberty battle on Friday, October 25. Winchester will play a Spy Ponders team coming off a 38-7 league win over Belmont (Belmont, MA). The Spy Ponders record now stands at 4-2.
