October 18, 2024: Colfax, IL The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL) and the host Ridgeview/Lexington Mustangs (Colfax, IL), witnessed Shelbyville's football squad knock off Ridgeview/Lexington by a tally of 24-14.
The Rams (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Eureka was toppled by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 29-12, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) in a Heart of Central Illinois - Large contest, on Friday, October 25.
