Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA), 55-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Roland-Story improves its record to 6-2 on the season.

The Eagles now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Interstate 35 for a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. Saydel will play a Roadrunners team coming off a 49-7 league loss to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 3-6.
