West Virginia High School Football - Wyoming East trounced by Shady Spring
October 18, 2024: New Richmond, WV 24867 Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV), 41-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Shady Spring advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to play the Grizzlies in a Coalfield AA battle on Friday, October 25. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Nicholas County won 26-6 in their recent league battle against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)
The Warriors now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to PikeView for a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. Wyoming East will play a Panthers team coming off a 41-7 league loss to Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
