New York High School Soccer - Marlboro Central knocks off Port Jervis
October 18, 2024: Marlboro, NY 12542 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY) and the visiting Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY), saw Marlboro Central's soccer squad triumph over Port Jervis by a count of 6-1.
The Dukes (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Eagles enter the Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) battle with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Onteora nudged Rondout Valley (Accord, NY), 6-0, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Port Jervis moves to 7-3 on the year. The Raiders host Chester (Chester, NY) to encounter the Hambletonians in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 21. The Hambletonians go into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Chester won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY)
