California High School Football - Armijo can't hold off Foothill
October 18, 2024: Fairfield, CA 94533 Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA), 6-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Foothill improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Burbank (Sacramento, CA) to play the Titans in a battle on Friday, October 25. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Burbank won 48-12 in their recent non-league battle against River Valley (Yuba City, CA)
The Royals now have a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Florin for a battle on Thursday, October 24. Armijo will play a Panthers team coming off a 52-0 league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
