Maine High School Soccer - Portland knocks off Noble
October 18, 2024: Portland, ME 04101 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) and the visiting Noble Knights (North Berwick, ME), saw Portland's soccer squad triumph over Noble by a margin of 5-0.
The Bulldogs now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Deering for a Class A - South challenge on Monday, October 21. Portland will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Noble moves to 2-9 on the year. The Knights host Sanford (Sanford, ME) to encounter the Spartans in a Class A - South challenge on Monday, October 21. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Sanford lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME)
