October 18, 2024: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Glenbard West improves its record to 22-7 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to face the Redhawks in a non-league test on Friday, October 18. The Redhawks go into the test with a record of 18-9. Naperville Central won 2-0 in their recent league test against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)
The Blue Thunder now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrington for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. Belvidere North will face a Fillies/Broncos squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 21-8.
