October 18, 2024: Pomfret, MD 20675 McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, McDonough improves its record to 5-9 on the season. The Rams travel to Northern (Owings, MD) to face the Patriots in a Southern Maryland test on Monday, October 21. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 12-0. Northern won 3-0 in their recent league test against North Point (Waldorf, MD)
The Engineers now own a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western for a Baltimore City Division I test on Wednesday, October 23. Poly will face a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Franklin (Reisterstown, MD). The record now stands at 11-2.
