New York High School Football - New Utrecht holds off Bayside
October 18, 2025: Bayside, NY 11361 The New Utrecht Utes (Brooklyn, NY) football tipped the host Bayside Commodores (Bayside, NY), 42-36 in Saturday's league outing.
The Utes now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph Campus for a PSAL 3A game on Sunday, October 26. New Utrecht will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-14 league win over Truman (Bronx, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
The Commodores (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Lehman (Bronx, NY). The Lions enter the PSAL 3A game with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Lehman was tipped by John Adams (Ozone Park, NY), 30-6, in a league bout.
