October 18, 2025: East Meadow, NY 11554 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Long Beach Marines (Long Beach, NY) and the host East Meadow Jets (East Meadow, NY), witnessed Long Beach's football squad knock off East Meadow by a tally of 29-17.
The Marines (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against MacArthur (Levittown, NY). The Generals go into the Section 8 Conference II bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, MacArthur was topped by Calhoun (Merrick, NY), 28-19, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Jets confront the Glen Cove Big Red (Glen Cove, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 25. East Meadow will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Big Red enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Garden City (Garden City, NY).
