The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) and the visiting Girard College Cavaliers (Philadelphia, PA), witnessed Model Secondary School for the Deaf's football squad wallop Girard College by a tally of 38-6.

The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Cubs go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, California School for the Deaf-Riverside smashed Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA), 64-6, in a non-league bout.
