New Mexico High School Soccer - St. Pius X knocks off Artesia
October 18, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87120 The St. Pius X Sartans soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Artesia Bulldogs to 0 in the Sartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Sartans now hold a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Rancho for a non-league game on Monday, October 20. St. Pius X will face a Rams team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Rams record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Artesia moves to 5-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Portales (Portales, NM) to encounter the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Portales lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lovington (Lovington, NM)
