October 18, 2025: Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ) and the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), saw Ramapo's soccer squad prevail over Mahwah by a count of 5-1.
The Raiders (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Comets come into the North Bergen 2 match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Hackensack nipped Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ), 10-0, in a league match.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dumont for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 21. Mahwah will meet a Huskies team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Paramus (Paramus, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 3-9.
