Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tars (16-19) will now prepare for their challenge against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders come into the Macomb Area - Red challenge with a 19-8 record. In their last challenge, L'Anse Creuse North edged Regina (Warren, MI), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
