Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) and the visiting Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC), observed R-S Central's volleyball team top Central Academy of Technology & Arts by a count of 3-0.

The Hilltoppers (17-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league battle with a 20-4 record. In their last battle, Maiden dropped by North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
