October 18, 2025: West Linn, OR 97068 Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Corvallis improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Spartans host Central (Independence, OR) to face the Panthers in a 5A Mid-Willamette test on Tuesday, October 21. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 8-10. Central won 3-0 in their recent league test against Woodburn (Woodburn, OR)
The Lions now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Tigard for a 6A Three Rivers challenge on Tuesday, October 21. West Linn will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Tualatin (Tualatin, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 5-13.
