The Freeport Pretzels volleyball squad (Freeport, IL), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL)

With the win, Sycamore improves its record to 17-12 on the season. The Spartans travel to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL) to encounter the Pirates in a Interstate Eight battle on Tuesday, October 21. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 9-20. Ottawa won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL)

Next, the Pretzels meet the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 contest, on Tuesday, October 21. Freeport will attempt to move on its 9-20 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 6-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
