In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Galena Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Thomas More Sabers.

The Pirates (26-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartsburg-Emden (Hartsburg, IL). The Stags come into the non-league challenge with a 24-4 record. In their last challenge, Hartsburg-Emden beat Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.
