South Dakota High School Volleyball - Jones County can't hold off Lemmon
October 18, 2025: Lemmon, SD 57638 In Saturday's non-league match, the Lemmon Cowboys (Lemmon, SD) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD), by a margin of 2-1.
The Cowboys now possess a 20-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bennett County for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Lemmon will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 27-4.
With the loss, Jones County drops to 13-12 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Colome (Colome, SD) to battle the Cowboys in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 21. The Cowboys enter the contest with a record of 1-21. Colome lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD)
