October 18, 2025: McBain, MI 49657 Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Kalkaska Blazers (Kalkaska, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Comets (11-14) will now prepare for their test against Frankfort (Frankfort, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Frankfort gained a win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Blazers now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bear Lake for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Kalkaska will play a Lakers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mesick (Mesick, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 15-17.
