Mekeel Christian Academy Lions (Schenectady, NY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Lions now have a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Johnstown for a Section 2 Western - Northern outing on Tuesday, October 21. Mekeel Christian Academy will play a Sir Bills team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Sir Bills record now stands at 1-7.

The Cadets (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY). The go into the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty game with a 4-10 record.
