The Lamar Thunder volleyball squad (Lamar, CO), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO)

With the win, Severance moves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Silver Knights travel to Timnath (Timnath, CO) to meet the Cubs in a 4A/5A Longs Peak contest on Tuesday, October 21. The Cubs enter the contest with a record of 10-7. Timnath won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Greeley Central (Greeley, CO)

Next, the Thunder meet the Colorado Springs Christian Lions (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 3A/2A Tri-Peaks battle, on Monday, October 20. Lamar will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
