Illinois High School Volleyball - Monticello tips Trinity

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Monticello Sages volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Trinity Blazers.

The Sages (20-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-14 record. In their last challenge, Paxton-Buckley-Loda was nudged by Monticello (Monticello, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blazers meet the Rosary Royals (Aurora, IL) in a Girls Catholic (GCAC) challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 19-11 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 3-26 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
