In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Notre Dame de Sion Storm volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Kansas City Hornets.

The Storm (9-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 22-8 record. In their last challenge, Raymore-Peculiar beat Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO), 3-2, in a league test.
