The Northwood Falcons volleyball squad (Shreveport, LA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA)

The Golden Tors (13-23) will now prepare for their challenge against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 15-10 record. In their last challenge, Benjamin Franklin got by Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) in a Division II District 1 test, on Tuesday, October 21. Northwood will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Chiefs go into the test with a 26-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA).
