Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wilmington improves its record to 25-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to meet the Coalers in a Illinois Central Eight challenge on Tuesday, October 21. The Coalers come into the challenge with a record of 15-15. Coal City won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Herscher (Herscher, IL)

Next, the Rocks meet the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 18. Rock Island will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 2-0 league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL).
