October 19, 2021: Lindside, WV 24951 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) and the host James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV), saw Bluefield's soccer squad get by James Monroe by a margin of 3-2.
The Beavers now sport a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to PikeView for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 20. Bluefield will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, James Monroe drops to 4-8 on the season.
