October 19, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70802 The Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA) football defeated the host Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), 19-8 in Thursday's league bout.
In their next game, the Buffaloes face the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 2A District 6 bout, on Friday, October 27. Baker will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 49-22 league win over East Feliciana (Jackson, LA).
The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Northeast (Pride, LA). The Vikings enter the 2A District 6 bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Northeast was toppled by Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA), 40-8, in a league bout.
