The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies walloped the visiting Groton Tigers football team by a count of 48-13 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Elk Point-Jefferson upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 26. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Tri-Valley won 48-7 in their recent non-league outing against More (Rapid City, SD)

With the loss, Groton moves to 5-4 on the season.
