October 19, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28278 The Palisades Pumas soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave to 1 in the Pumas non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Pumas face the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a So Meck 4A contest, on Tuesday, October 24. Palisades will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Sabres enter the contest with a 10-5 record after their 1-1 league Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC).
The Greenwave now have a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A contest on Monday, October 23. Ashbrook will face a Storm team coming off a 3-0 league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Storm record now stands at 11-3.
