Match Summary
Peekskill stumbled the first two sets, and Lincoln was present for each Red Devil attack and responded well. After injuries to Setter Audrina Mendez (sprained ankle), Middle Hitter Adrienne Copeland (Thumb sprain), and Right Side Sa'Niah Reeves (shoulder pain), Peekskill went with a bare-bones Offense and put their noses to the grindstone.
Down 2 sets, Peekskill focused on one set at a time, one point at a time, and managed to muster up win after win after win. Sianna Salazar played a pivotal role in turning our fortunes around; Subbing in as a Middle Hitter, a position she's never played, she generated key Kills from the Middle to give us momentum to take the lead for our first set win.
Without that momentum, we would have been in deeper trouble. Great job Sianna!
Honorable mention to Nina Ijiogbe for Serving at 93%, racking up 13 Assists and 14 Digs for the match.
