The Linfield Christian Lions edged the host Big Bear Bears football team by a final score of 35-30 in Saturday's league battle.

With the win, Linfield Christian advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lions host Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA) to play the Heralds in a Mesquite battle on Friday, October 25. The Heralds go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Whittier Christian won 21-14 in their recent league battle against Western Christian (Upland, CA)

The Bears now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Maranatha for a Mesquite battle on Friday, October 25. Big Bear will play a Minutemen team coming off a 34-21 league loss to Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-4.
