Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Fort Lupton Bluedevils (Fort Lupton, CO), 21-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Brush advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Beetdiggers host Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO) to play the Rebels in a 2A League 7 battle on Saturday, October 26. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Weld Central lost 43-24 in their recent league battle against The Academy (Westminster, CO)

The Bluedevils now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling for a 2A League 7 battle on Friday, October 25. Fort Lupton will play a Tigers team coming off a 54-0 league win over Arvada (Arvada, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
