October 19, 2024: Temple Hills, MD 20748 Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), 44-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Douglass improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Friendly (Fort Washington, MD) to play the Patriots in a Prince George's County 2A/1A battle on Friday, October 25. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Friendly lost 30-26 in their recent league battle against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Cavaliers now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hammond for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 26. Crossland will play a Golden Bears team coming off a 16-0 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-6.
