New York High School Football - Roosevelt sneaks past Flushing
October 19, 2024: Flushing, NY 11354 The Roosevelt Cougars football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Flushing Red Devils to 14 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cardozo for a PSAL 3A test on Friday, October 25. Roosevelt will meet a Judges squad coming off a 36-28 league win over Lehman (Bronx, NY). The Judges record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Flushing drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Lehman (Bronx, NY) to meet the Lions in a PSAL 3A test on Saturday, October 26. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-2. Lehman lost 36-28 in their recent league test against Cardozo (Bayside, NY)
